Pictures Of Old Peachtree Montessori

I love working with kids. The energy that they add to my practice is amazing. I can't tell you how many times while working on adults in my practice, one of our pediatric patients will walk through the office and make us all laugh, it truly is a pleasure. Recently, Dr. Bell, Carmen and I went to our yearly trip to Old Peachtree Montessori School. It truly is one of the most enjoyable volunteer activities we do each year. We get to go in and teach them about chiropractic and the importance of spinal health. Often times adults, unfamiliar with pediatric chiropractic, ask me what do we do for children? Kids get spinal problems the same as adults, but the difference is that it takes 10 times less work to see results with children than adults because the problems have not been there as long. But for children we help with ear infections, childhood asthma and breathing problems, sinus problems and colic. There have also been favorable studies done with Chiropractic care and ADHD. Kids are extremely active, I can't tell you how many times after working on one of the kids in my office, that they run around and either fall off a table or run into the wall, and that's just in my office! These activities and mild traumas, are more than enough for spinal misalignments to occur and left alone, they create a weakness and irritation to the spine. So for kids, we try and get them checked out as soon as possible. I've attached some of these years pictures of the montessori school day with this post. If you or your child is suffering from some of the conditions I spoke of, give us a call, I never charge for kids to get a check up.
